24HoursSleeping's News

Wow, over half a year since my last post. Well, I've been keeping busy with my comic. Very busy after switching to 5 pages a week recently! Just last week we hit page 100.

I'm here to announce that I'm opening a store on Redbubble. It features my original project from way way back when, my senior thesis, "24 Hours Sleeping". Each design is based on a real dream (or more often, nightmare) that I had. You can find those here, too, but it's a little more organized there.

The designs can be printed on about 60 items, from coffee mugs to mouse pads to shirts. Of course, you don't have to buy anything. I'd be more than happy if you were just curious enough to check out some of earliest art I made in what is now "My Style".

And for those of you who follow my comic, I plan on showing it some love in my Redbubble in the future as well.

Hello everyone! Today I officially start posting my comic. It's about someone stuck in a dream looking for a way to wake up, and traveling through various dreamscapes that my very own brain gave to me. Normally I'll be posting once every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. However, I have a lot of extra built up pages, so this week I will be posting three times as much.

This is also nice because it will almost get our protagonist out of her starting room and into her first dreamscape.

The comic's name is "IaaDiTe", which stands rightly for "It's all a dream in the end." I hope you enjoy it.

Hello all! Since I've gotten quite a bit done early this month, I'm going to devote myself to practicing my tablet drawing skills a couple hours a day. Up until now, my process has been drawing my pieces in pencil, scanning them, and then redoing them with mouse and keyboard. Hopefully, if I can get used to the tablet, I'll be able to speed up my process.

Here's day 1 for anyone interested.

The laptop where I do most of my art remains broken. Well, it's more broken than before. The cracking of the monitor got worse, and the plastic around the hinges broke, so the monitor is only attached by wires. I have parts coming in to fix it, though internet isn't working on it either, so there may be more fixes needed.

I have it sitting away somewhere so I can't break it further, so I've just been doing a lot of pencil practice. I took a picture of a piece today and uploaded it, so I may be doing that for a while until everything is in order!

Back from a hospital stay. Probably wont be on too much until everything heals up, but I'll try to get some pencil and pen stuff done in the meantime.

It smells like my childhood in here.

I'll be putting my art and stuff here.
