You did a great job emulating the style, which I love. Only difference I can see is that the MMZ eyes tend to be a little bigger and simpler than here (they really liked the "big iris, no pupil" style). But that's just a difference, not better or worse.

You did a really good job of translating such an exaggerated design to 3D. Huge limbs and stuff tend to be easier in 2D.
